Fleet Auto News launched in 2015 and by the end of 2021 had sent 344 weekly newsletters and published over 2,000 articles on fleet management, leasing and car reviews. The FAN team have also produced the Novated Leasing Guide magazine every year since 2016.

At the end of each year we’re always interested in what stories our readers liked the most. The number one from 2020 was a big surprise and we think the headline grabbed everyone’s attention.
The big local fleet news in 2021 was the SG Fleet acquisition of Leaseplan. After chasing several acquisition targets, SG Fleet had caught the big fish. FAN published several articles about the acquisition during the year and three of them made the top 10.
Late in 2020, Isuzu Australia Limited (IAL) released the Future of Trucking Report which provided some great insights into the Australian transport industry. We used their data for several articles on heavy vehicles and the top 10 truck brands in Australia was very popular with our readers.
Early in 2021, Kia used the Australian Open to launch the fourth generation Kia Carnival and got people asking – what’s a GUV? We drove the Carnival in early 2021 and we got it. It wasn’t a people mover any more; it was a Grand Utility Vehicle, or GUV. And the rest is history because it became the number one article on FAN in 2021.
