Hyundai’s new Santa Fe Hybrid will now be offered with two optional XRT packs, beefing up the SUV with off-road tyres, more ground clearance and styling aimed at adventurous buyers.
A collaborative effort between Hyundai Motor Company Australia (HMCA) and Hyundai America Technical Centre, Inc., the XRT Option Packs have undergone engineering development and testing for the local market.
Buyers will get the choice of either the XRT Peak or XRT Adventure packs, each designed to elevate Santa Fe Hybrid’s off-road capabilities with a range of functional upgrades.
The Peak option costs $9,990 including GST and fitment, which consists of off-road wheels and tyres, integrated side step, bonnet protector, roof platform, mud flaps, roof racks, underbody protection and upgraded suspension.
Stepping down in price, the Adventure pack costs $6,990 including GST and fitment, and is made up of off-road wheels and tyres, underbody protection, mud flaps and upgraded suspension.
At the heart of the upgrades is the XRT suspension package which, when combined with new 17-inch wheels and all-terrain Pirelli Scorpion tyres, offers a 30mm lift. The suspension upgrade consists of specially tuned Mando dampers, revised knuckles and stabiliser bars.
The XRT Option Packs are available for new and existing Santa Fe customers and will be covered by Hyundai’s five-year/unlimited kilometre warranty when fitted by a Hyundai dealer at the time of vehicle purchase.
