Toyota will introduce an upgraded Corolla Cross to the Australian market in the second half of 2025 — and for fleet buyers, it’s an important new option to consider.
The traditional Corolla sedan and hatch, long a favourite for fleets, no longer holds an active ANCAP rating. Its previous five-star rating has expired, meaning organisations with strict safety policies may need to look elsewhere to meet procurement guidelines.
The Corolla Cross, on the other hand, provides an excellent alternative. With its high safety credentials and hybrid-only powertrain, it aligns well with both corporate sustainability goals and duty of care obligations.
The latest update to the Corolla Cross range adds further appeal. A refreshed exterior look includes a new integrated mesh grille design and revised LED headlight signature (on GXL grades and above). Across the range, additional standard specification will be introduced, ensuring the model continues to deliver excellent value for business buyers.
A highlight of the update is the introduction of a new GR Sport grade — an all-wheel-drive, performance-inspired flagship featuring exclusive styling, sport-tuned suspension, and dynamic enhancements.
The updated colour palette includes fresh options such as Massive Grey, Ash Slate, Shadow Platinum, and Feverish Red, with two-tone black roof options available on select variants.
Full pricing and specification details will be announced closer to launch. For fleet buyers, the timing is ideal: as older Corolla fleet vehicles come up for replacement, the upgraded Corolla Cross provides a practical, safe, and modern option to keep drivers protected and policies compliant.
