The JAC T9 Dual-Cab 4×4 Utility has joined the cast of the hit Australian drama RFDS, which airs Wednesdays at 7.30pm on Seven and 7plus.
Now in its third season, RFDS continues to capture audiences with its portrayal of the Royal Flying Doctor Service and the real-world challenges faced by crews working across Australia’s remote and unforgiving landscapes. Filmed in South Australia at Adelaide Studios, the Flinders Ranges, and the Port Augusta RFDS Base, the series is broadcast in more than 76 countries and was awarded the 2024 TV Week Logie for Best Drama Program.
JAC Motors Australia Managing Director, Ahmed Mahmoud, said the company is proud to see the T9 showcased in a series that celebrates the spirit of rural Australia.
“We’re incredibly excited to see the JAC T9 featuring on-screen in such an important Australian drama series that showcases the remarkable work of the Royal Flying Doctor Service,” he said.
“The T9’s rugged good looks, reliability and safety make it the perfect vehicle to support the RFDS teams on screen. It’s built to perform when it matters most — both on screen and in real life.”
The JAC T9 Dual-Cab 4×4 is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine producing 125kW and 410Nm, paired with a ZF eight-speed automatic transmission. Its BorgWarner four-wheel-drive system includes a dual-range transfer case and locking rear differential — features designed to ensure capability and control in the toughest Australian conditions.
With its combination of performance, design, and dependability, the JAC T9’s appearance in RFDS reinforces its credentials as a tough, versatile ute built for Australian conditions — whether tackling outback tracks or supporting everyday work and lifestyle needs.
