Nova Systems has announced a strategic partnership with HERE Technologies to strengthen digital services across Defence, Emergency Services and Government.
The partnership combines Nova Systems’ operational and systems integration expertise with HERE Technologies’ location data and mapping platform. Nova said the collaboration will support better decision making in areas such as emergency response coordination, constrained routing, Defence logistics, and national-scale planning and operations.
A key focus of the partnership is delivering accurate and frequently updated geospatial intelligence that can be integrated into existing customer environments, including Esri-based systems.
Nova Systems Chief Executive Officer Dean Rosenfield said the partnership was about giving decision makers trusted information in critical situations.
“In high consequence environments, timely and accurate decisions save lives. Our partnership with HERE Technologies ensures the people responsible for protecting communities, supporting Defence operations and coordinating nationally critical operations have access to reliable, real time location intelligence when they need it,” Rosenfield said.
HERE Technologies General Manager, Oceania, Daniel Antonello said the partnership would help organisations act more confidently in mission-critical scenarios.
“Our partnership with Nova Systems brings together deep operational expertise with HERE’s global mapping and location intelligence capabilities to help organisations across defence, public safety and government respond faster, plan better and operate with greater confidence,” Antonello said.
The companies said the partnership reflects the growing importance of technologies that can operate across both civil and national security environments. These include location data, constrained routing and operational layers that support faster, safer and more coordinated planning and execution.
For Emergency Services and Government agencies, the capability could support improved response coordination and operational planning. For Defence and national security applications, the partnership is expected to strengthen logistics, routing and situational awareness in complex environments.
Nova Systems said the agreement further strengthens its digital product and services portfolio in support of Australia’s national security, safety and resilience priorities.
