BYD and its exclusive Australian distributor EVDirect have announced new fleet pricing for businesses and government entities.
The fleet pricing will apply to every vehicle purchased from its range of ‘new energy’ vehicles, the company has outlined. This will include the Seal, Dolphin and Atto 3 EV models, as well as the Sealion 6 PHEV.
According to BYD the incoming Shark ute will also be eligible for fleet discounts, following its local launch later this month.
The following BYD Fleet discounts apply:
- Government – 6 percent discount – eligible for all local, state & federal government departments and agencies & not-for-profit organisations
- Extended Fleet – 6 percent discount – eligible for all companies with a fleet size of 100+ vehicles
- Standard Fleet – 4 percent discount – eligible for all companies with a fleet size of 20-99 vehicles
“This innovative program not only reduces upfront costs and total cost of ownership but empowers both business and government to faster make the transition to new energy technology, significantly reducing their carbon footprint,” said BYD Fleet CEO, Boyd Stidwill.
