Chinese-owned manufacturer JAC Motors has unveiled the first two dealers of its planned 50-plus-dealer network in Australia, with the hotly anticipated T9 Ute touching down in the new showrooms.
JAC Motors Ringwood opened its doors to the public this month alongside the arrival of the JAC T9 Ute at an official opening ceremony, followed by Peninsula JAC Motors in Frankston, with global chairman of JAC Group Xiang Xingchu attending both openings.
“We’ve been eagerly awaiting the arrival of the T9 Ute, and after having the opportunity to experience it in person we’re now even more excited to introduce this amazing new vehicle to Victorians,” Director at Vision E Mobility Group and JAC Motors Ringwood Dealer Principal, Lee Matenga said.
“We hear from customers daily that they want new options for their daily driver or weekender, that won’t break the bank. The JAC T9 is the perfect option for them, and we can’t wait to host our first test drives before the end of the financial year.”
The dealership openings add to the growing momentum of JAC’s Australian market arrival and the firm says anticipation for the T9 Ute has been “incredible”.
“The interest and anticipation we’ve seen off the back of our arrival just a month ago has been incredible. The demand for new ute options that deliver on both form and function is clearly there and the JAC T9 Ute is ready to meet this,” Deputy Managing Director of JAC Motors Australia, Danny Lenartic said.
“The team at JAC Motors Ringwood see this as well, with the ute already turning heads. Aussies should stay on the lookout as there is sure to be a JAC T9 Ute in a dealer near them very soon.”
The JAC Australia website is live, inviting potential buyers to schedule a test drive of the T9 Ute, which will be priced from $42,662 before on-road costs – undercutting major players like Ford, Isuzu, Nissan and Toyota.
