Bendix has assured vehicle owners and trade partners that product supply and Australian manufacturing will continue unchanged as the business prepares for new ownership.
FMP Group (Australia), the company behind the brake products brand, says it will shortly announce details of its new owners.
The ownership change will take FMP Group out of First Brands Group, allowing it to continue operating independently in Australia and New Zealand.
For fleet operators, workshops and maintenance providers, the key message is continuity. FMP Group says the supply of Bendix products will not be affected by the transition.
Its engineering and design centre and manufacturing facilities in Ballarat, Victoria, will also continue to operate unchanged, retaining the local operations behind the brand.
Existing leadership to remain
FMP Group Vice President Asia Pacific, George Kyriakopoulos, and his senior executive team will lead operations under the new ownership structure.
The company says the change will support Bendix’s ongoing growth and product diversification in Australia and New Zealand.
