Hyundai has expanded its Palisade large SUV range with the arrival of the new Calligraphy Black Ink, a dark-themed flagship variant designed to deliver a more distinctive road presence.
Building on the Palisade Calligraphy, the Black Ink treatment replaces much of the exterior brightwork with black or satin-black finishes.
The front end features a hot-stamped black grille and active air flap, satin-black grille surround and black Hyundai emblem, while the dark theme continues across the window surrounds, lower bumpers, beltline, roof rails and model badging.
Gloss-black 21-inch alloy wheels complete the exterior package.
Customers can choose between Abyss Black and Creamy White exterior paint, creating either an all-black appearance or a contrasting monochromatic finish.
Inside, the Black Ink cabin retains the Calligraphy’s pure-tone black Nappa leather upholstery but replaces its bright alloy-style finishes with exclusive black metallic trim.
Hyundai Motor Company Australia Chief Operating Officer Gavin Donaldson said the new variant offered Palisade customers a bolder interpretation of the brand’s large family SUV.
“We’re excited to introduce Palisade Calligraphy Black Ink, which brings a more distinctive and contemporary dark edge to our large family SUV,” Donaldson said.
“With its black-finished wheels and trim, and premium pure-tone Nappa leather cabin, Black Ink gives Palisade customers a bold new expression of style while delivering the comfort, technology and practicality that defines the Hyundai SUV line-up.”
The Palisade Calligraphy Black Ink joins the Elite and Calligraphy variants in the Australian range.
All models are powered by Hyundai’s next-generation 2.5-litre turbocharged petrol-electric hybrid system and are available with either seven- or eight-seat cabin configurations.
