GWM has announced changes to its service program for the 2025 Cannon ute and Tank 300 SUV powered by the 2.4-litre turbo-diesel engine, extending service intervals to reduce downtime and lower maintenance costs.
The first scheduled service for these models now occurs at 10,000km or 12 months (previously 5,000km or 6 months), with subsequent services every 15,000km or 12 months. This update brings GWM into line with broader market expectations while maintaining performance and reliability standards.
More Value Under Capped Price Servicing
The update also enhances the coverage of GWM’s Capped Price Servicing (CPS) program:
- Cannon 2.4-litre diesel: CPS coverage extended from 45,000km to 70,000km.
- Tank 300 2.4-litre diesel: continues with 7-year capped price coverage.
According to GWM ANZ COO John Kett, “After extensive collaboration with our factory and R&D teams, we have successfully optimised the service schedule for these models — improving owner convenience while also lowering overall maintenance costs.”

- Improved cost certainty: extended capped price servicing provides clearer budgeting up to 70,000km.
- Warranty confidence: 7-year/unlimited km warranty is among the longest available in the light commercial and SUV segments.
