JAC Motors is broadening its Australian T9 Dual-Cab 4×4 Ute line-up with four new models designed to meet both trade and lifestyle demands — the Tradepro and Oasis Cab-Chassis variants, and the new lifestyle-focused Osprey and Osprey X editions.
For Fleet Managers and small business operators, the new Tradepro CC and Oasis CC represent serious workhorse potential. With a payload capacity of up to 1,165 kg (excluding tray), these cab-chassis utes provide a robust base for custom service bodies, toolboxes, or specialised fit-outs — while still offering the practicality of four doors and five seats.
On the lifestyle front, the Osprey and Osprey X models build on the well-equipped Haven grade with comfort and visual upgrades such as a power sunroof, a unique suspension tune, and — for the Osprey X — an exclusive black-out styling package including grille, mirrors, roof bars, and alloy wheels.
Importantly for novated lease buyers and fleet policy thresholds, both the Osprey and Osprey X have been engineered with a 980 kg payload, placing them just under the one-tonne ceiling and expanding their eligibility for salary packaging and fleet consideration.
“The success of our T9 Dual-Cab 4×4 has shown that Australians appreciate the combination of safety, capability, reliability and great value that JAC delivers,” said Ahmed Mahmoud, Managing Director of JAC Motors Australia. “These four fantastic new T9 family members expand the T9’s appeal for customers with specific requirements – whether that’s the ultimate work platform or enhanced daily comfort.”
All four newcomers share the proven T9 drivetrain: a 125 kW / 410 Nm 2.0-litre turbodiesel matched with the ZF 8-speed automatic transmission used by premium European brands. A BorgWarner dual-range 4WD system and locking rear differential reinforce the T9’s off-road credibility.
Like the rest of the JAC range, the new variants come backed by JAC All Roads Assurance (JARA) — a seven-year unlimited-kilometre warranty (for both private and business buyers), 24/7 roadside assistance, capped-price servicing, and a warranty loan-vehicle program.
The JAC T9 Osprey, Osprey X, Tradepro CC and Oasis CC will begin arriving in Australian dealerships from November 2025, with final specifications and pricing to be confirmed closer to launch.
For fleets seeking a flexible, well-equipped platform — or drivers after a ute with a little more polish — JAC’s expanded T9 line-up looks set to cover both sides of the ledger.
