Cox Automotive Australia (CAA), parent company of Manheim, is delighted to announce the appointment of Daniel Colina as Head of Fleet, Government, Corporate & Rental.
Daniel joins the Cox Automotive family after eight years at BMW Group Australia, where he held strategically important roles including Head of Corporate and Fleet Sales, and National Area Manager for BMW M and BMW i vehicles.
He brings nearly 25 years of Australian automotive OEM experience to the role, having spent time at GM Holden, Toyota Fleet Management, and Renault.
“We were really happy to attract someone of Daniel’s calibre to what is an important role within the Cox Automotive business,” said CAA CEO Stephen Lester. “Daniel is well placed to manage key fleet customers while generating opportunities in this time of transition for the wider auto sector.”
Manheim’s national- and state-based wholesale auctions are held every week and open to retail dealers and in some cases the general public. Late model ex-fleet and lease vehicles of all types comprise a significant proportion of vehicles offered in our busy auction lanes.
Overall auction volumes grew 40% over the first half of 2024, while July continued the momentum as the company’s best result in four years.
