Custom Fleet has strengthened its partnership with sustainable mobility specialist Carbn, with Carbn now operating as a subsidiary of the fleet management company in a move designed to accelerate connected, data-driven fleet solutions across Australia and New Zealand.
The closer relationship brings the two businesses into the same corporate group, enabling deeper collaboration across fleet management, technology and data while maintaining the existing level of service for customers.
According to Chris Tulloch, President of Custom Fleet, the move is a natural progression of an already successful partnership.
“This is a natural next step in our partnership with Carbn. By bringing our businesses closer together, we can move faster, align more closely and deliver even greater value for our customers across the full fleet and mobility lifecycle.”
The announcement reflects the growing importance of connected mobility platforms that combine fleet management, financing, data analytics and sustainability services into a single ecosystem.
Shaun Drylie, CEO of Carbn Group, said organisations are increasingly looking for practical ways to respond to rising energy costs and emissions pressures.
“Energy security, cost and emissions are no longer distant issues – they’re immediate pressures. Electric, connected mobility is how forward-thinking organisations are taking back control.”
“Carbn was built to challenge fragmented mobility solutions, and joining forces with Custom Fleet gives us the best of both worlds: the freedom to disrupt, backed by the scale and expertise to deliver.”
The businesses say the strengthened partnership will enable faster innovation, improved operational efficiency and stronger capabilities across the combined organisation while providing customers with more integrated mobility solutions.
Custom Fleet, backed by Element Fleet Management, is one of Australia’s and New Zealand’s largest fleet management and mobility providers, delivering end-to-end fleet solutions, data insights and mobility services. Carbn specialises in sustainable mobility technology, fleet financing, data insights and services designed to help organisations reduce fleet costs and lower emissions.
The integration reinforces both companies’ focus on supporting fleet transformation and the transition towards smarter, lower-emission mobility solutions across the region.
