Coates, Australia’s leading equipment hire and solutions provider, has announced a new partnership with Inauro to automate fleet and operational workflows across its national network. The collaboration will leverage Inauro’s Perspio™ platform to unify data from Coates’ extensive fleet, streamline business systems, and enhance the digital customer experience.
The move marks a significant step in Coates’ broader digital transformation journey, aiming to deliver better visibility, efficiency, and safety across its operations. Through the integration of Perspio™, Coates will be able to connect its existing telemetry systems with core business tools such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and maintenance software. This will automate many of the manual processes currently required to monitor and manage thousands of assets across Australia.

According to Coates, trials with customers in the construction and mining sectors demonstrated measurable improvements in operational performance within weeks. These early results encouraged a national rollout, with the technology soon to be extended to Coates’ customers as part of its digital customer experience program. The initiative will also enable advanced utilisation insights, fuel and ESG reporting, and streamlined compliance monitoring—all within a single interface.
