The second half of 2022 will be one of the biggest six-month periods in Nissan’s history, with the brand previewing the four major new model launches set to almost entirely refresh the Nissan family in Australia.
Despite industry-wide supply challenges, Australian production schedules are now locked in for a host of all-new models, delivering everything from scintillating sports cars to tech-laden SUVs.
All-new Pathfinder, X-TRAIL and Qashqai models will all arrive in 2022, giving Nissan one of the freshest SUV line-ups in Australia. Those models will be joined by our performance halo vehicle, the all-new Nissan Z, which will write a new chapter for this iconic sports car.
“I’m thrilled to be able to confirm launch timings for these vehicles, with all four exciting and all-new models set to arrive in Australia in the second half of 2022,” says Nissan Australia Managing Director, Adam Paterson.
“The all-new Z, Pathfinder, X-TRAIL and Qashqai will join the just-updated Patrol, along with the tough and rugged Navara, to give Nissan one of the newest and most exciting model line-ups in the country.”
The all-new Nissan Qashqai will launch with four feature-packed grades, an exciting new engine, and advanced multi-link rear suspension across the range. It delivers a spacious and stylish SUV with enhanced safety features, combined with the inherent spirit and stunning design expected of the Qashqai.
The Nissan Pathfinder is all-new from the ground up. Every inch of this stylish SUV was carefully designed to convey a sense of rugged strength and capability, with a powerful front face, wide stance, and a shorter front overhang. The iconic Pathfinder offers an all-new nine-speed automatic transmission, all-new Intelligent 4WD with seven-position Drive and Terrain Mode Selector, as well as impressive towing capability.
One of the most advanced Nissan SUVs ever, the all-new Nissan X-TRAIL will arrive with a bold new exterior, a family focused interior and a comprehensive suite of safety systems. The new X-TRAIL sets the adventure bar high with its versatile, fun and adventurous spirit.
Engineered by and for the driving enthusiast, the seventh-generation sports car is designed to thrill. The seductive lines of the iconic Z are matched with a driver-focused cabin complete with manual or nine-speed paddle-shift automatic transmission, rear-wheel drive and a potent twin-turbocharged V6 engine.
