Now, Lexus has expanded its industry-leading Encore Owner Benefits program, introducing the freedom to swap into another Lexus when travelling, have an owner’s Lexus valet-parked when shopping and access permanent premium-fuel discounts1.
The renowned Lexus Encore program has now expanded with two membership tiers – Encore and Encore Platinum – incorporating new Owner Benefits designed to give customers more of their most precious commodity, the luxury of time.
Lexus understands that this year has magnified the importance of customer care – a key pillar for the luxury lifestyle brand – and will add all new benefits to the existing memberships of customers who have purchased a new Lexus since January 1, 2020.
The new Lexus Encore Platinum is standard with all Lexus RC F, GS F, LX, LC and LS models, offering a series of pioneering travel benefits.
Lexus Encore Platinum builds on the luxury mobility and convenience of the program by adding valet parking at participating shopping centres, and the ability to swap into other Lexus models at select airports and dealerships, called Lexus on Demand.
The new Owner Benefits are the ultimate Lexus expression of the principles of the Japanese hospitality art of omotenashi, inspiration for ‘we’ve been expecting you’ – anticipating an owner’s needs, having authentic relationships with them and appreciating the finer details.
All Lexus Encore members will also enjoy an enhanced series of Lifestyle Events incorporating exclusive dinners, money-can’t-buy experiences with Lexus ambassadors – even virtually – and hotel stays featuring additional benefits.
This has even been made possible during physical event restrictions with the recent launch of a complimentary ‘Here For You’ virtual content series for owners – including an interactive virtual ‘Here for Food’ event with Lexus ambassador and renowned-chef Neil Perry, exclusive to Encore Members.
This will be followed by the first virtual golf day, where Lexus ambassador, Australian pro-golfer Dimitrios Papadatos will share golfing tips and tricks, and answer questions, with Lexus Encore Members.
Lexus Service Experience incorporates Capped Price Servicing2 featuring the iconic Lexus benefit of complimentary loan car delivery when servicing, and Lexus vehicle pick-up and drop-off from an owner’s home or work.
It now includes the new benefit of a 5-cents-per-litre fuel discount1 off Caltex premium unleaded or diesel, and DriveCare3 roadside assistance that goes above and beyond regular roadside assistance.
Lexus Encore and Lexus Encore Platinum Owner Benefits are accessed by a state-of-the-art new Lexus App.
The Lexus App also provides a new channel to communicate with customers and introduce further benefits in the future, while ensuring that Lexus owners are offered the most seamless interaction with each Encore and Encore Platinum element.
Lexus Australia Chief Executive Scott Thompson said the expansion of Lexus Encore emphasised how the luxury lifestyle brand is going even further for customers in a year where they may need support the most.
“Lexus understands that this year we have been challenged to reassess how we spend our time in the short term, and how meaningfully we use it going forward,” Mr Thompson said.
“This period has crystallised our view that the Lexus approach to customer care should be even further extended, to both save time for Lexus Encore members and allow them to savour time with amazing experiences.”
Roy Morgan Research has reported Lexus customer satisfaction at 96.8 per cent. This score surpassed all automotive competitors and even led results across 41 other industry categories – what Roy Morgan calls the ‘best of the best’.
Lexus Encore Platinum
Lexus Encore Platinum implements industry-leading mobility benefits as standard for owners of either a flagship Lexus model (LX, LC, LS) or F-marque performance model (RC F, GS F). The luxury of convenience is offered with the addition of Lexus on Demand.
Lexus Encore Platinum Members are invited to book the Lexus of their choice when travelling. This complimentary service gives owners access to four trips, up to eight days each, over the course of the three-year membership period. Members can choose the Lexus that best suits their lifestyle and the needs of a particular occasion.
Owners of the flagship Lexus LS could utilise a Lexus RX L should they require seven seats, a Lexus LC for a couple’s weekend away, or a Lexus LX for a more rugged holiday excursion – or another LS for an interstate business conference. Owners of the high-performance Lexus RC F may conversely require the increased space and luxury of a Lexus LS at certain periods. The Lexus on Demand fleet will include most Lexus models, with a focus on RX, RC F, GS F, LX, LC and LS.
To access Lexus on Demand, owners can reserve a vehicle through the Lexus App. Once booked, the vehicle can be collected from select interstate airports and participating dealerships across the country. They can also effortlessly change or cancel their booking via the Lexus App for maximum convenience.
Lexus Encore Platinum Members will also enjoy valet parking at shopping centres around the country including Chadstone Shopping Centre in Victoria and select Westfields Shopping Centres. There is no need to pre-book, and eight valet parking vouchers can be redeemed across an owner’s three-year membership, with up to three hours of complimentary parking. It is all easily accessed through the Lexus App so owners have more time to enjoy shopping.

Available since January, Capped Price Servicing2 is available across the three years of the Lexus Encore membership period. For each of the first three annual/15,000km standard logbook services the Lexus CT, UX, IS, NX, ES, GS and RC are priced at $495, while the RX, RC F, GS F, LC and LS cost $595.
For the Lexus LX, each of the first six bi-annual/10,000km standard logbook services – required due to the additional componentry and heavy-duty usage of the flagship luxury four-wheel drive – costs $495.
Even if a loan vehicle is not required, dealership staff can pick up an owner’s Lexus from their home or work and return it to for maximum convenience. Once serviced, the Lexus will be returned with a complimentary wash and vacuumed interior.
Lexus DriveCare3 is an above-and-beyond roadside assistance service that offers more than basic mechanical assistance and breakdown assistance with fuel, battery or tyre/wheel replacement.
It also includes complimentary breakdown towing as required to a Lexus Dealer or nominated technical centre. It offers a courier service for urgent small parcels or documents, a Personal Assist service for when owners experience a vehicle-related incident over 100km from home and their Lexus is immobile for more than 24 hours.
It further offers a one-way metropolitan taxi fare up to $150 (including GST) and clothing and personal effects cover up to $250 (including GST). Off-road patrols are also available for LX and RX all-wheel drive variants.

Lexus App will bring Lexus Encore to life – and to the fingertips of customers.
The new Lexus App has been designed with high-end graphics and luxurious details that reflects the craftsmanship of a Lexus vehicle – teamed with the effortlessness of use embodied by Lexus Encore.
Owners will be warmly welcomed with a personalised ‘good morning’, ‘good afternoon’ or ‘good evening’ message.
Lexus Encore Platinum Members are able to view bookings for Lexus on Demand, which shows their previous, active and upcoming bookings.
The Lexus App will ask owners to input their preferred loan period, collection and return location, collection time and return time for a booking – which will then show the types of vehicles available.
Lexus Encore Platinum Members will be able to show their valet parking vouchers digitally on approach to a participating shopping centre carpark, while all Lexus Encore Members will be able to utilise Caltex fuel discount vouchers1.
As a rolling update, Lexus Encore Members will in future be able to see upcoming Lexus events and book into golf days, track days, dining nights and wellness experiences, as well as book their vehicle service, all via the Lexus App.
Lexus intends to further personalise the Lexus App by asking owners questions that enable Lexus and dealerships to anticipate a customer’s needs before they are communicated – practicing the best of the Japanese hospitality art of omotenashi.
