We love all things fleet here at Fleet Auto News and one of the funnest parts of what we do is testing the latest new vehicles before they hit Aussie roads.
Testing new vehicles goes beyond just having fun, though, as we assess them for fuel economy, safety, comfort, performance, value and so much more.
As our Youtube channel has grown, we have made sure to film as many fleet vehicle reviews as possible – from the LandCruiser 300 Series, to the all-new Mitsubishi Triton, and just about every new EV available.
Here are our top five most-viewed Youtube videos from across the year at Fleet Auto News. Grab a cup of coffee, sit back and enjoy!
5. Toyota LandCruiser 2024 LC300 GR Sport
The LandCruiser 200 Series proved itself, in part thanks to its venerable V8 diesel engine, as a class-leading 4×4 wagon – but it was getting a bit long in the tooth.
That is until the LandCruiser 300 Series burst onto the scene, redefining the iconic nameplate and taking it into the future with V6 twin-turbo grunt and the same off-road ability owners have come to expect.
We tested the sportiest of the LandCruiser 300 Series models, the GR Sport, to see how it stacked up. What did we think? Well, watch our video and find out!
4. MG Cyberster first look
MG Motor Australia unveiled its awesome new Cyberster electric roadster to local media earlier this year and you can bet the team from Fleet Auto News was there!
Held at the MG Dealership in Sydney, this event marked a significant milestone for MG as they introduced their latest electric sports car to the Australian market. The launch was a showcase of innovation and design, aimed at reshaping the perception of electric vehicles (EVs).
The launch of the MG Cyberster represents a bold step forward for MG and the Australian EV market. Estimated to be priced close to $130,000, the Cyberster is positioned to attract buyers who seek both performance and innovation in their vehicles.

3. MAXXIS tyre review as fitted to the new Triton
The all-new Mitsubishi Triton landed in Australia earlier this year, taking the proven workhorse to the next level with more safety, space and technology.
The new-gen Triton boasts a significantly enhanced, Mitsubishi-designed and developed 2.4-litre Bi-Turbo diesel engine heart, advanced safety features and an interior that is up there with the best of them.
But it wasn’t our first drive of the new Triton that garnered the most attention, it was actually our review of the MAXXIS tyres fitted to the 4×4 ute which proved that you don’t need extreme A/T tyres to have some fun in the dirt.
Check out our rundown of the Maxxis Bravo A/T tyres fitted to the new Triton below.
2. We take the new Isuzu D-Max for a spin
We drove the new Isuzu D-MAX SX and the X-Terrain 4×4 ute models for a week each, to see what they offered. We were impressed.
Isuzu Ute Australia overhauled its popular D-Max model for 2024, with a better infotainment system, newer safety technology and a fresh facelift.
While the D-Max was the third-best selling vehicle in Australia last year, behind Toyota HiLux and Ford Ranger dual-cab rivals this year the model received its biggest refresh since the current generation launched in 2020.
Check out our experience in the two D-Max models, below. We think these utes are a prime fleet pick!
1. 2024 Toyota LC79 – New with an old-style look, but is the 4 cylinder powerful enough?
Our most-viewed video for 2024 is hardly surprising, with the incredibly popular Toyota LandCruiser 79 Series topping the list.
While tradies, farmers and fleet operators loved the old 79’s grunty diesel V8 engine, the new four-cylinder turbo-diesel unit proved to pull its weight and actually surprised us.
Will the die-hard 79 Series fans agree? Plenty seem to, so far. But to find out what we thought, you’re going to have to watch the video below!
