Tyre providers are increasingly moving to e-commerce solutions to service the fleet industry, with Innovation Group reporting that its 1link Service Network authorisation platform has experienced annual growth of over 49% in tyre provider coverage and a 30% increase in tyre related transactions.
General Manager of Fleet Services Tony Brand says “servicing the fleet sector has historically been a complex process for tyre suppliers and 1link has allowed a huge simplification of this for all stakeholders”.
Kmart Tyre & Auto Service launched on 1link nationally 12 months ago and say they are now reaping the benefits.
National Fleet Sales Manager Travis Smith says “Fleet is a very important part of our growth strategy and we have invested heavily in systems over the past year to better service this sector. 1link has been a key part of this strategy, allowing us to offer our fleet clients efficiency savings whilst providing them with a quality service”.
Bridgestone have also increased their coverage on 1link having initially commenced usage back in 2008. In January this year they chose to roll the solution out to a further 50 partner stores across the country in order to maximise efficiencies for themselves and their fleet customers.
National Fleet Account Manager Roger Saliba says “Not only has 1link delivered internal efficiencies to the Bridgestone business it has also proven to be invaluable for our customers. At Bridgestone we pride ourselves in meeting and exceeding customer expectation and 1link is one resource which assists us in achieving this.”
