We’re Bulldogs fans at Fleet Auto News so it’s great news to us that Kia Motors Australia has moved its support for NRL heavyweights Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs to the next level with the signing of a three-year deal to be the club’s major sponsor.
The new deal expands the Official Car Partner sponsorship arrangement KMAu had with the club since 2015, putting Kia front and centre on all club apparel.
“The expansion of what has been a very successful interim relationship with the Bulldogs is an exciting move for Kia Motors Australia,” KMAu Chief Operating Officer Damien Meredith said.
“The Bulldogs club has a long and distinguished record in the rugby league world and an ethos that sees them continually striving for success. They pride themselves on being a family-friendly club and that is a perfect fit for Kia, where family is an integral part of the corporate DNA.”
Bulldogs Chief Executive Raelene Castle is proud to partner with Kia Motors Australia.
“The Bulldogs are a proud sporting club and to now partner with a proud worldwide organisation such as Kia Motors is a sign of two strong brands coming together.
“The club has had a fantastic relationship with Kia Motors Australia since 2015 and to now have them as our major sponsor is a huge coup for the Bulldogs and we look forward to working together in the future on a number of new and exciting initiatives.”
Kia Motors now has a substantial footprint in the Australian sporting landscape with the Bulldogs joining The Australian Open tennis and Essendon Football Club as members of the Kia sporting family.
