Isuzu UTE Australia (IUA) has announced a new multi-year agreement with Football Australia, becoming the official automotive partner of Australia’s national football teams.
The three-year partnership covers the full national team pathway, including the CommBank Socceroos, CommBank Matildas, men’s and women’s youth squads (U17s, U20s and U23s), as well as the CommBank Pararoos and CommBank ParaMatildas .
Under the agreement, Football Australia will work with Isuzu UTE and its national dealer network on promotional opportunities, digital content and community engagement activities. The partnership will promote the Isuzu D-MAX and MU-X models at a national level .
The announcement comes ahead of a significant period for Australian football, with the CommBank Matildas set to compete in the AFC Women’s Asian Cup Australia 2026™ and the CommBank Socceroos preparing for the FIFA World Cup 2026™ .
Football Australia Chief Executive Officer Martin Kugeler described the agreement as a broad commitment to the sport.
“Football Australia is proud to partner with Isuzu UTE Australia, marking another significant milestone in our commitment to high-quality commercial partnerships,” Kugeler said .
“We are particularly delighted that this is a ‘whole-of-football’ deal, supporting the game at every level – from grassroots, youth national team squads, member associations through to the A-Leagues as well as the CommBank Matildas and CommBank Socceroos,” he said .
Isuzu UTE Australia Managing Director Mr Junta Matsui said the agreement builds on the brand’s existing involvement in the sport.
“Extending our partnership within football allows Isuzu UTE Australia to further cement our presence and commitment to the sport in Australia, a country truly passionate about sport,” Matsui said .
The partnership also extends Isuzu UTE’s relationship with the A-Leagues, where the brand has been a leading partner for more than four years. As part of the new agreement, Isuzu UTE will remain a partner of the A-League Men and Women .
Australian Professional Leagues Chief Executive Officer Steve Rosich welcomed the continuation of the arrangement.
“It’s great for football in Australia to have such a strong partner support at every level of the game. For more than four years, Isuzu UTE Australia has been a fantastic partner for the A-League Men and Women, providing invaluable support on and off the field,” Rosich said .
The announcement follows a milestone for the brand, with Isuzu UTE Australia recording its 400,000th local vehicle delivery in December 2025 .
