Special Acknowledgment
Jon Bannister is retiring from his role as Manager – Plant and Energy after 22 years at Blacktown City Council. Jon has been a leader and innovator during his time at the council and was formally acknowledged in a Mayoral Minute by Mayor Cr Tony Bleasdale OAM at the recent council meeting.
He introduced telematics into the fleet long before others could see the benefits, and was an early supporter of low and zero emission vehicles. In recent years, Jon could always be found at a trade show or exhibition looking for new ideas and ways to reduce fleet emissions.
Fleet News Group would like to wish Jon all the best in his retirement and thank him for his support and mentoring over the years.
