OMODA JAECOO has opened its 50th dealership in Australia, marking a significant expansion milestone less than a year after launching locally.
The 50th site, OMODA JAECOO Macarthur, is located in south-west Sydney and extends the brand’s national footprint across six states. The dealership offers the full range of OMODA and JAECOO models, including petrol, hybrid and electric options, as the brand continues to build scale in the Australian market.
Rapid dealer network growth
The latest opening highlights the pace of the brand’s rollout since arriving in Australia around seven months ago. OMODA JAECOO now operates 50 dealerships nationwide, with representation across metropolitan and selected regional markets.
Roy Munoz, Chief Commercial Officer at OMODA JAECOO Australia, said the dealer network has been a priority from the outset.
“We’re incredibly proud to have reached 50 dealerships in such a short time. It’s a major milestone for us at OMODA JAECOO in Australia,” Munoz said.
“One of our key focuses has been on building a well-supported dealer network across key metropolitan and regional markets, ensuring Australian customers have access to our range of premium vehicles.”
Munoz added that four models with multiple variants have already been introduced locally, aimed at covering a range of customer needs and budgets.
Current model line-up
The Australian range now includes four SUVs across the OMODA and JAECOO brands:
- OMODA 9 SHS – a super hybrid SUV focused on electrified efficiency and performance
- JAECOO J7 – a mid-size SUV available in petrol and hybrid variants
- JAECOO J8 – a larger “frontier” SUV positioned around comfort and technology
- JAECOO J5 – a compact SUV offered in petrol, EV and hybrid forms, with an EV launch offer available to early customers
From a fleet perspective, the growing mix of hybrid and electric powertrains will be of interest to organisations monitoring emissions reduction options, while the rapid dealer expansion improves service and support coverage.
Ownership and aftersales proposition
All OMODA JAECOO vehicles sold in Australia are backed by what the brand refers to as its “quadruple 8” assurance program, including:
- 8-year unlimited-kilometre vehicle warranty
- 8 years of capped-price servicing
- 8-year unlimited-kilometre battery warranty
- Up to 8 years of roadside assistance
For fleet buyers and Fleet Managers, warranty coverage and servicing certainty are often key considerations alongside purchase price and whole-of-life costs.
Dealer partner perspective
The Macarthur dealership is operated by the Peter Warren Group, which marked the milestone as the brand’s 50th outlet nationwide.
Andrew Doyle, CEO of Peter Warren Group, said the partnership aligns with the group’s expectations around quality and customer experience.
“This is a tremendous moment. The Peter Warren Group is excited to be the 50th OMODA JAECOO dealership across Australia,” Doyle said.
“Both parties have a strong commitment to quality and reliability, which makes this partnership a match made in heaven.”
“Together we aim to provide customers with a positive ownership experience from start to finish into 2026 and beyond.”
National footprint at a glance
OMODA JAECOO’s dealer network is now spread across the following states:
- New South Wales: 14 dealerships
- Victoria: 18 dealerships
- Queensland: 10 dealerships
- Western Australia: 4 dealerships
- South Australia: 2 dealerships
- Tasmania: 2 dealerships
As the brand continues to add sites, further dealership announcements are expected as it looks to improve geographic coverage and aftersales support for its growing owner base.
For fleet decision-makers, the speed of network expansion will be worth watching as OMODA JAECOO transitions from a new market entrant to a more established option within Australia’s increasingly competitive SUV landscape.
