Hino Motor Sales Australia (HMSA) has appointed Dimitri Andreatidis as National Marketing Manager effective immediately.
Andreatidis joins HMSA with an accomplished track record and over 14 years of experience in the automotive industry.
Recently, Andreatidis completed a four year tenure at Sime Darby where he led the product, brand and communications for Peugeot, Citroen and DS Australia.
During his time at Sime Darby, Andreatidis was responsible for launching PSA product in Australia along with key sponsorship projects including: Novak Djokovic; Sydney Roosters; Pikes Peak; Dakar; 24 hour Nürburgring; and the ATP tennis tournament.
Prior to this, Andreatidis worked for Toyota Motor Corporation Australia (TMCA) in various roles within the marketing and the product planning departments, including the positions of Manager of Brand Communications for passenger vehicles, Marketing Manager and Launch Manager for Toyota 4WD and Commercial Vehicles.
During his 10 year employment with TMCA, Andreatidis contributed towards the development of the marketing strategies and launch of many key models across the passenger and commercial vehicle range.
Andreatidis was part of the team responsible for the launch of the new 86 in 2012, in addition to the Yaris, Camry/Aurion, Altona “factory pride” and Corolla during his time as part of the passenger marketing team
From 2006 to 2010, Andreatidis worked on the development and implementation of the marketing and communications strategy plans across commercial vehicles including the Kluger, RAV4V6, and HiLUX facelift models.
Prior to his Toyota experience, Andreatidis worked with a number of advertising agencies in both automotive and non-automotive roles.
