MG Motor Australia has reduced the price of its new petrol MG3 models by $1,300 with special drive-away pricing announced, alongside the run-out $18,990 pricing of its old MG3 model, in an end of financial year sale.
Customers can now get behind the wheel of the new MG3 from $24,990 drive-away for the Excite and $26,990 for the Essence, but Hybrid model pricing remains the same – a $3,000 premium over petrol-only variants.
“Customers like choice and we want them to be empowered to have the freedom to drive an affordable hatch,” MG Motor Australia National Sales Manager, Brad Chruszcz said.
“A lot of our customers want to take advantage of the asset write-offs with the government, we have plenty of stock ready to be delivered.
“We want people to experience the all-new petrol MG3 and this provides an additional incentive to do it. It is a car that people know and love, we know that. The real kicker is that the all-new model has nothing in common with the outgoing model aside from the nameplate. It has been completely designed and built from the ground up in terms of design, safety, technology and finish.
“Given we’ve just launched this car and have plentiful supply, now is the right time for consumers to take advantage and get behind the wheel before the end of this financial year.”
According to MG Motor Australia, customers that have already taken delivery of a new petrol MG3 will be eligible for a rebate.
