Nissan has announced pricing, grades and specification information for all King Cab, Single Cab and Dual Cab Chassis variants of the Australian-market NP300 Navara range.
These latest model variants comprise 13 separate versions and join the Dual Cab pickup range that went on sale in June this year. The first of these new variants go on sale later this month. The complete NP300 Navara model range is scheduled to be available in Nissan showrooms by November.
“Tough, powerful and smart: these three characteristics define the all-new NP300 Navara range,” said Richard Emery, Managing Director and CEO of Nissan Australia. “These latest variants embody them by their capabilities in rugged work environments, their great technologies and strong, efficient powertrains.
“We know what Australian customers expect from hard-working vehicles in this category. The all-new Nissan NP300 Navara range has the durability, performance and smarts to deliver what buyers need on local worksites, mines, farms and businesses of many types because these vehicles are built on the generations of know-how we’ve gathered from developing pick-ups of this kind for Australia.”
The all-new NP300 Navara has been praised for a variety of standout features, including the availability of the impressive twin-turbo diesel YS23DDTT engine with 140kW / 450Nm (ST and ST-X), the standard-fitment seven SRS airbags, including driver knee airbag, a maximum braked-trailer towing capacity of 3,500kg and class-leading diesel fuel economy. Like the NP300 Navara Dual Cab range, the King Cab and Single Cab variants enjoy similar feature-rich standard equipment lists and competitive pricing, offering tremendous value to Australian buyers.
Single Cab
The NP300 Navara Single Cab range is available in two model grades – DX and RX – and with either a QR25 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine (122kW and 238Nm, DX 4×2 only) or the YS23DDT 2.3-litre single-turbo four-cylinder diesel engine (120kW and 403Nm). Both 4×2 and 4×4 drivetrains are available, both controlled by a standard-fitment six-speed manual transmission; a seven-speed automatic is available as an option for the turbo-diesel RX 4×4.
All Single Cab models are cab-chassis in configuration. A pick-up, style-side rear body is not available.
Maximum payload capacities for NP300 Navara Single Cab models range from 1,196kg to 1,362kg, depending on model grade and drivetrain. All Single Cab variants are fitted with leaf spring rear suspension.
Dual Cab Chassis
Also joining the Australian NP300 Navara catalogue is one additional variant of the Dual Cab range: the Dual Cab-Chassis 4×4. This workhorse-oriented Dual Cab variant will allow fitment of a drop-side tray cargo body and comes fitted with leaf spring rear suspension and a maximum payload capacity of 1,151kg.# It is available only in the RX model grade as a 4×4 with single-turbo-diesel power. Its list of standard inclusions is the same as the corresponding King Cab RX 4×4 variant.
# Payload figure is calculated prior to fitment of any tray or body to the vehicle.
