SIXT is pleased to announce it has recently partnered with mycar Tyre & Auto to provide vehicle servicing for its fleet, including a growing number of electric vehicles (EVs).
SIXT launched in Australia in 2021, with the largest rental fleet of EVs nationwide. With an ambition to electrify 50% of their fleet in the coming years, SIXT require a vehicle servicing provider with both the expertise and mobile footprint to help deliver on their aggressive emissions reduction plan.
mycar’s EV expertise and ethos supports SIXT’s sustainability goal, with both businesses sharing a vision to help accelerate the adoption of electric mobility.
mycar has led the way in the industry, evolved with the market, embraced change, and heavily invested in technician training and EV infrastructure. mycar currently has 43 EV ready stores, within its network of over 275 stores, with more to come in 2024. Through a combination of in-store and mobile service vans, mycar is well placed to support SIXT’s business model, which includes the safe and timely servicing at SIXT’s major domestic airport sites.
