The speakers at the 2023 Australasian Fleet Conference represent Fleet Managers, Government and industry suppliers coming together to share ideas on the Shifting Tides of Fleet Management.
With rising interest rates and record inflation, organisations are facing increasing pressure on fleet operational and capital budgets at time when State and Federal Governments are offering incentives to encourage the adoption of expensive electric vehicles to meet emission targets.
There’s never been a more exciting time to be a Fleet Manager if you’re willing to shift with the moving tide of technology and the focus on reducing emissions.
Marc Sibbald, Director – Fleet at IPWEA, believes 2023 will be remembered as the tipping point for electric vehicles and technology where the car park of businesses reflects the desires of their stakeholders to achieve net zero.
“You can feel the change in attitudes and the support from governments at all levels for the transition to low and zero emission vehicles which presents a huge challenge for Fleet Managers,” explains Sibbald.
“I’m excited to see IPWEA Fleet members and speakers at the 2023 conference. It will be my first one as Director IPWEA Fleet and I’m looking forward to working with the IPWEA Fleet Council to deliver an education program and resources that are relevant and useful to all Fleet Managers.”
“The Shifting Tides of Fleet Management is the conference theme, and I trust attendees will gain valuable insights from the extensive and impressive speaker line-up which has assembled for this must-attend event on the Fleet calendar.”
