On Friday 4th March Dominic Perrottet Minister for Finance, Services and Property, announced that Custom Fleet, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Element Financial Corp, has been appointed one of the leasing partners on their newly established Fleet Panel.
The new model will see the establishment of a panel of leasing companies from which NSW Government agencies can lease, depending on their specific requirements, and will assist the NSW Government to manage its residual value risk.
For Custom Fleet, this will potentially provide the opportunity to quote on over 2,000 vehicles in a typical three month period. Custom Fleet will also provide disposal services for the vehicle it leases to the government.
Aaron Baxter, CEO of Custom Fleet, said the team had worked closely with NSW Government over a long period of time and were excited about establishing a long term relationship with them.
“We have been in constant discussions with them since April 2015, so are excited about the opportunity to demonstrate the benefit of outsourcing fleet management by realising efficiencies and ultimately saving costs.”
