In a move aimed at novated lease customers, Mitsubishi Motors Australia Limited (MMAL) has released new sub-1000kg Triton GLS and GSR options, but pricing remains unchanged.
The two high-grade models currently feature payloads exceeding one tonne, with the GLS offering 1075kg and the GSR 1030kg, which makes them ineligible for novated leasing in Australia.
While the standard payload models remain, Mitsubishi says the sub-1000kg version of the GLS and GSR will be available from August. A reduced payload 4×2 model has not been included, meaning only the two top-spec 4×4 models will be eligible for novated leasing.
“All-New Triton has delivered on its promise: It is the best Triton we have ever offered,” said MMAL CEO, Shaun Westcott.
“We have also taken on feedback from dealers, media and most importantly our customer base. The result is the introduction of an enhanced model range with the addition of variants that offer payloads of under 1000kg.”
Mitsubishi says all other specifications remain unchanged, as per the existing GLS and GSR model grades.
