Eclipx Group, an established leader in vehicle fleet leasing, fleet management and diversified financial services in Australia and New Zealand is pleased to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary, FleetPlus, has been appointed to the Queensland Government’s Novated Leasing Services Panel.
Queensland Government employees currently have approximately 22,500 novated leases, with approximately 7,000 established in the 2015 financial year. FleetPlus is one of eight businesses that have been appointed by the Government to provide novated leasing services.
The Panel appointment commences on 7 November 2016 and will last for three years, with an option to extend for an additional two years (exercisable by the Queensland Government). Eclipx has over $1.8 billion of fleet assets under management or financed across Australia and New Zealand. Eclipx, which listed on the ASX in April 2015, is now one of Australia and New Zealand’s largest independent fleet and novated leasing businesses.
Doc Klotz, Chief Executive of Eclipx, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with the Queensland Government in proving these novated leasing services”.
“This is the latest of numerous Government-related contract wins and initiatives including the NSW Government State Fleet Panel, as well as the funding partnership with the Federal Government owned Clean Energy Finance Corporation aimed at incentivising the reduction of vehicle emissions in Australia.”
