The long awaited brand-new Mazda CX-9 looks like great value for novated leases starting with a manufacturers list price of $42,490 for the FWD Sport.
“The Brand-New Mazda CX-9’s value proposition is a strong one,” said Mazda Australia marketing director Alastair Doak. “Starting from $42,490 plus on roads, each grade offers something unique, we expect Brand-New Mazda CX-9 will appeal to a broad buyer group.
“When you consider the seven-seater SUV options available on the market, this is affordable luxury. I think we can now safely say that the Mazda CX-9 offers a premium ownership and driving experience without the price tag.”
On sale nationally in July, the enhanced Brand-New Mazda CX-9 comes with significantly more standard equipment than its predecessor, and brings the CX-9 nameplate in-line with First-Ever Mazda CX-3 and Mazda CX-5 in offering four distinct grades.
In production now, the second-generation Mazda CX-9 features an all-new 2.5 litre direct-injection turbo charged petrol engine, with both i-stop and i-ELOOP technology, that outputs 170kW of power at 5,000rpm and 420Nm of torque at a low 2,000rpm.
It also boasts fuel economy numbers that start from a low 8.4 litres per 100 kilometres for Front-Wheel Drive models and 8.8 litres per 100 for All-Wheel Drive alternatives. This is an improvement of almost 25 per cent compared to the outgoing CX-9.
Running on standard unleaded (91 RON) or with E10, Brand-New Mazda CX-9 will be the most economical seven-seater petrol model in its class.
With safety top of mind, the Brand-New Mazda CX-9 will be better equipped to avoid accidents thanks to a range of class-leading standard i-ACTIVSENSE safety technologies.
For the first time, Advanced Blind Spot Monitoring (ABSM), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) and Smart City Brake Support [Forward/Reverse] (SCBS F/R) will be available across the entire CX-9 range.
Also, an array of additional i-ACTIVSENSE technologies will make their debut on the top-of-the-range Mazda CX-9 Azami, including Adaptive LED Headlamps (ALH), which incorporates High Beam Control (HBC), Driver Attention Alert (DAA), Lane Keep-assist System (LAS) and Smart Brake Support (SBS).
Mazda’s i-ACTIVSENSE advanced safety technologies are designed to help drivers recognise potential hazards, avoid collisions and minimise the severity of accidents when they are unavoidable.
